Storytrails event - Stories of Indian Festivals - Tuesday November 9th at 4.30pm
SAVE THE DATE and join the PCA for another StoryTrails event on Tuesday, November 9th at 4:30 p.m. 'Tis the season' to learn more about Indian Festivals, including Diwali. Explore customs, traditions, and stories with the talented and engaging Storytrail hosts. This is a FREE exclusive event for our community (up to 50 spots available). Diwali Mela community dance
Shake a leg this festive season with a dance tutorial from ASA Instructor Ms. Kavya! Bring your family together and share a recording with the PCA Executive Team! We hope many families will enjoy learning this dance and upload their videos to this folder. Please click on the link for the music for this dance.
Diwali Mela - India themed videos
If dancing is not your thing, you can still get involved. Get creative and share your Indian talent or skill with the community. Students, parents and faculty/staff are all welcome to participate.
Some ideas for you to consider are:
- singing and music
- story telling
- dance
- poetry reading
- cooking demonstrations
- mehendi or kolam designs with instructions
- painting, embroidery, arts and crafts
- any other Indian themed video - get creative!
Technical details
o Find a space with good lighting, preferably natural light, not sunny but well-lit.
o Please record with limited background noise,
o Please keep the video in LANDSCAPE position.
o The video should be 2-3 minutes, although we can allow up to 5 minutes for cooking videos
o The format should be Mp4.

PCA Book Group
