 We will be selling tickets every day next week  
at both the Main and Elementary Entrances. Come join us for an exciting night that includes appetizers, dinner, raffles, and a silent auction. There will also be a photo booth at the event. Come make some memories!

We are pleased to announce that the Taj Coromandel is offering a special room rate for the night of the Roaring 20s Ball. You can book your room now for 8,000 RS all inclusive, including breakfast. Email Raghav.Markanda@tajhotels.com and ask for the AISC special Rate for April 7, 2018. 


Premium Beverage Tickets for 
the Roaring 20s Ball

Premium Beverage Tickets for the Roaring 20s Ball will be on sale every day next week at the main entrance and the elementary entrance. These tickets are needed to get your premium drinks the night of the ball. Tickets will be 400 rupees or 700 rupees depending on your choice of beverage. Save yourself some time and get your tickets before the event.



The Ayyanar Courtyard Is Coming!
This summer, AISC is also renovating the courtyard outside the FAC where the large Ayyanar horse stands. This renovation gives us the opportunity to create a new space and allows the AISC community to leave their mark!

Parents, alumni, students, faculty and community partners are welcome to customize a message or an image that they would like to have engraved on a stone tile that will be placed in the courtyard.

The walkways and center picnic table areas will be paved with non-engraved stone tiles.

Please note that faculty, alumni, families and communities can create their message or image collaboratively.

We will be accepting submissions and payment through April 15. With verification of stone tiles occurring between then and June 1. The stone tiles will be laid in the ground over the summer.

The excess funds generated from this project will go to create an Annual Fund, which will support student opportunities, facilities improvements and distinguished visitors.

These stone tiles are forever. This is a great opportunity to leave your and your family's mark at AISC!

PCA Ball Silent Auction

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 7! We will celebrate the PCA Ball starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Taj Coromandel. This year's theme is Roaring 20s, so start looking around for some fun clothing. One of the key components of the evening is the silent auction. Such hits from last year was the American Craft Beer cooler, A Good Earth basket, a French food and champagne basket, Owl Lanterns, and much, much more.

We also feature at the silent auction faculty art, experiences and trips. Here is a selection of what parents and companies have offered in PAST years:
  • Garden Consultation
  • A variety of food and baked goods
  • Items for their country basket
  • Art work
  • Massage
  • Furniture
  • Hotel stays 
We are looking for parents to help us connect with local business to offer a unique experience or items.
  • Behind the scenes of a movie set
  • Tour of a manufacturing plant
  • Airline tickets
  • Other high-end items that our community might enjoy 
We also ask faculty to offer experiences, which are always well-received and enjoyed.

Proceeds from the PCA Ball Silent Auction go towards the PCA Distinguished Visitors Fund, which supports bringing in a range of experts to inspire our students. This year it helps fund: Missoula Children's Theater, Bill Harley and Dr. Kofi, a musician who will be coming in April.

Easter Brunch at the Westin Hotel

Dear Parents and Teachers:

I am pleased to announce an Easter Brunch at the Westin Hotel Velachery.

Maker Carnival Chennai 2018
Maker Carnival Chennai is a free to attend, community focused event, which will be held on Saturday March 10th, 2018 on the AISC Campus at Taramani. Maker Carnival Chennai takes the form of a “Show Tell and Do” experience where inventors/makers sourced through an open call, will have an opportunity to showcase their creations in a fairground atmosphere, and invite the participants to have a go too. It is a family friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making and share what they are learning.

Further information and details will follow, but if you are interested in participating as a corporate vendor, a guest maker, or as an attendee, we would love to hear from you. Please visit the event website, get involved, and inspire the next generation of India’s makers and inventors.
