Transitions are never easy
and are especially challenging when it’s to a whole new land with unfamiliar
languages, people and governmental systems. To help solve some of these
mysteries, we have invited an expert to come and give us a talk on the
important pointers in the years of transition.
Prabha Srinivasan, of Ventura Pranas, Chennai (and a new AISC parent
herself!) will discuss pertinent aspects like Residency Rules in India (NRI,
RNOR, ROR, TRC), investment related decisions(do expats need Aadhar and PAN
cards and how to get them), expatriation of funds from India outward, etc. She
will also briefly address the taxation of Indian income in the US and UK.
We invite you to attend the
talk from 2:30 – 3:30 pm during our PCA meeting on Monday, September 3, 2018
and ask her any questions that are on your mind.
Dear Parents,
Please come and view our new
books on Monday, September 3 from 8:00-9:30! Our library is usually open to
parents only before and after school, but this is a special viewing time so
that you can see what is new this year in the library. If you are unable to
come Monday morning, please know that you can also come after school that day
(3:30-5:00) to view the books as well. There is a PCA meeting beforehand that
afternoon and this might make a great opportunity to visit the library
after.
We would also like to take
this opportunity to thank our parent book ordering teams. Thank you for helping
us create a wonderful collection of books for our students!
Kind regards,
The Library Team
