Roll up, roll up get your tickets to the High School Fall Production “The Legend(s) of Sleepy Hollow” today at 6pm!  You know one version, the popular version, of Washington Irving’s tale of the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow— but wouldn’t you like to know what really happened on that fateful night that Ichabod encountered the Horseman? This play reveals all from the point-of-view of the one character who was there and knows the whole truth: Ichabod Crane’s horse, Gunpowder.

Visit the website to book tickets, get a sneak peek at the costumes and even some book recommendations.  Looks like it will be a spooky start to the weekend!

PCA Book Group

Our new PCA Book Group will launch on Wednesday 27 October at 19.30-20.30.  Our book for this semester will be “My Brilliant Friend” by Elena Ferrante. This book, originally written in Italian, is available in many languages including English, French, Korean, Japanese plus many more. So you should be able to read the book in your mother tongue.  For more details on the book, please refer to the slide show which Ms Babs presented at this week’s PCA Monthly Meeting.

If you would like to join the book group please complete the form below, and we will add you to a dedicated Book Group whatsapp group.  Note that even if you cannot attend the first meeting you will still be able to join the Book Group, as we will be having another meeting in December once everyone has had a chance to read the book.

Save the Date! Portal Project AISC Dialogue - What is Learning?

This month the Portal Project is focussed on "What is Learning?" and we invite all parents, faculty and students to help us craft a definition of learning and identify conditions that support it. The session will take place on Thursday, October 28th from 4:30 - 5:15 pm. Portal Project dialogues are not only engaging but generate data that is shared with the Community Planning Team and Leadership Councils to help guide our Futures Planning process. As such, participants have a voice in helping to shape the AISC of tomorrow. Interested? Please click here to add the event directly to a google calendar or here for the direct meeting link.
