Dancer's Trail

Dear Nature lovers,

The association, ‘Namma Beach, Namma Chennai’ in collaboration with the National Honor Society of the American International School of Chennai, will be conducting a beach cleanup on Sunday, February 19th on the Palavakkam Beach, located at the end of MGR Salai across from Oryza (landmark: St. Anthony Church).
The children of Advent Christian school of Injambakkam and the boys of Home of Hope are invited to help clean up the beach as well as the local fishermen and kids and expat families!

This activity aims to educate the public about the impact of the littering and carelessness on local beach pollution and the role that we, the citizens, play in cleaning our beaches. To incentivize and encourage people to dispose of waste appropriately and collect waste in a responsible manner, we are partnering with the local ice vendors to provide a free ice cream to each child in exchange for a bag filled with trash or waste.

Namma Beach, Namma Chennai would be honoured if the PCA can make some publicity for us within the parent community. All families are welcome with children above 7 years old are welcome.
