Board of Directors Election  
The Board of Directors is using electronic ballots in order to facilitate the voting process for each Association member. The voting window is now open and will stay open until 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April, 17. 

A direct email was sent to each parent with a unique link to cast your vote electronically. Clicking on this link will take you to a secure, completely confidential ballot. Please take time to vote. We NEED your VOTES!

April Association Meeting
The Biannual General Meeting of the Association will be held on Wednesday, 17 April, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. in the BBT. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this important meeting. The Head of School will share his biannual state-of-the-school presentation. 




Hi guys! My name is Amelia and I am currently taking a passion project on market research for starting a new company. My idea is to create an online website to sell pottery. Tickets will be on sale at main reception on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.! There ae limited seats available so get your tickets early. The cost is 250 rupees.





Thinking about Joining the PCA Executive Committee for the 2019-2020 School Year?



Interested candidates for the PCA Executive Committee can collect the Self-nomination Form from Sherene in the Head of School office. By noon on April 19, 2019, Self-nomination Forms are due to Sherene. Any forms received after 12:00 noon will not be accepted. Positions open are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

PCA Faculty Appreciation Day

“The smallest thanks is always worth more than the effort it takes to give it”
As we are coming to the end of this academic year, we would like to take the time to show our appreciation to all the teachers, office administrators, and all support staff. On Tuesday, April 23rd PCA will be hosting its annual Faculty Appreciation Day lunch to show our appreciation to the AISC teachers and support staff.

Last year, we hosted the event by providing home cooked  food for the teaching and administrative staff. This was greatly enjoyed and appreciated by them. We would like to follow the same approach this year. We will be serving a total of 250 teachers, teaching assistants, and administrative support staff.
Additionally, the PCA will be serving 180 support staff at AISC a Biryani lunch and traditional Indian sweets.
We request our parent community to support us for the event with a dish(s) to serve 8-10 servings. For example, a bowl of pasta salad, pan of lasagna, batch of cookies, etc.
Lunch will be served for teachers from 11:30am - 1:30pm. The venue will be announced closer to the date.
Please work with your country group to ensure we have enough food to go around for all. Once you have decided what you want to bring please sign up.

Please help us provide a balanced amount of appetisers, main dishes, and desserts and adjust your plans if a category is already full.
Schedule
8:30 am - 11:00 am drop of food in FAC Atrium
11:00 am serving team arrives
11:30 am - 1:30 pm teachers and admin staff come for lunch
1:30 pm - 2:00 pm Cleanup and collect dishes
Support Staff Lunch 1:30-3:00pm (FAC Cafeteria)
Guidelines:
Please bring your dish and serving utensils to the BBT the morning of the lunch if possible.
If you have a hot dish, it is best to make arrangements for delivery by 11:00 am to the FAC Atrium.  We will not have facilities to warm food in advance of serving.

Cold dishes can be stored in the MS and HS refrigerators after 3:30 pm on Monday, April 22nd if  needed.

If you are using a non-disposable serving tray please put your name on the dish so we can ensure it is returned to the right person.
Our teachers hold our children by the hand, open their minds and touch their hearts. Let us come together to thank them from the bottom of our hearts!
