To everybody who loves the beach,
The team of KiwiLearners, a preschool in Neelankarai
supported by the association ‘Namma Beach, Namma Chennai”
will be conducting a beach cleanup on Saturday, April 15th 2017 on the Chinna Neelankarai Beach.
Meeting point would be at the beach near Shiraz Art Café and Bella Vista Resorts, Neelankarai.
We invite you to join us to help clean up the beach and create an awareness of methods for proper waste disposal in the people living in the village.
This will not be a one-off event but the team of KiwiLearners will aim to educate the people in the village and the nearby government schools to protect our beaches.
This is our attempt to give back to the society.
We hope you will come in large numbers and support us in this cause.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family.
Bags, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided.
We request you to bring your own sun hats.
We are counting on the Chennai Corporation
to be present and to dispose of the collected garbage after the event
and the Chennai Police to make sure that the event will run safely
without disturbances of bystanders.
