Country Baskets
PTA Ball Silent Auction

The PTA Ball committee is requesting Country Coordinators to help organize a "Country Basket", with the help of others parents from their home countries, to be sold in the Silent Auction at the Ball. We realize that some countries are only represented by a small number of people and this would be difficult for you, so please do not feel like you must participate. For those that wish to participate, we are asking you to assemble a basket filled with goodies from your homeland. Some ideas are: specialty foods (perhaps with an attached recipe), baked goods, jams, wine, linens, etc. Have fun and be creative! Spring Break is an excellent opportunity to acquire any extra needed items if your travels take you home. This is our opportunity to showcase our countries in a special way. We would love the chance to celebrate all the countries that make up our AISC community.

Chennai Expats

Chennai Expats is a social group that organises events in Chennai for expats!

Previously known as BISC (British & International Social Club), Chennai Expats is open to anyone who has a foreign passport – either you or your spouse.

Our first event this year will be on Friday, 15^thFebruary in the Cheroot Cigar Lounge, ITC Grand Chola, Guindy starting at 8.00 pm.  For everyone interested in the group please ‘ChEx it out’ and join us for a drink at the Grand Chola. 

Membership is free and it is a great way to meet new people.
